Dried fruit is made by extracting the water from the fruit and drying it in the sun or using a dehydrator, such as air fryers. The natural sugars are concentrated since the water in the fruit is eliminated during drying.
- 2 strawberries
- 1 peeled banana
- 1 peeled kiwi
- 1 cup of lemon juice
- 1 cup water
- 1 pinch sugar
Slice all fruits evenly then put it in a bowl, put a cup of lemon juice 1 cup of water and soak for 5-10 minutes.
After 5-10 minutes dry fruits completely.
Lay fruits on the pan, allow at least 1/2 inch space from each piece. Sprinkle sugar to the fruit.
Set the temperature at 120 and set timer for 6 hours. Choose “dehydrate” preset.
Once it is done, remove the fruits in the pan out it in the plate and serve!
