 How to make bread

1.Place the pan in position, then turn it clockwise until they click in correct position. Fix the kneading blade onto the drive shafts. Turn the kneaders clockwise until they click into place. It is recommended to fill holes with heat-resisting margarine prior to placing the kneaders, this avoids the dough to stick below the kneaders and the kneaders could be removed from bread easily.

2.Place the ingredients into the bread pan. Please keep to the order mentioned in the recipe. Usually, the water or liquid substance should be put first, then add sugar, salt and flour, always add yeast or baking powder as the last ingredient. In the case of heavy dough with high Rye or a wholemeal portion, we advise reversing the order of ingredients. i.e. so fill it in first with the dry yeast and flour, and finally the liquid to get a better kneading result.

Tips: After the batter has mixed for 4 minutes,

stir sides and bottom of the bread pan with a rubber scraper to ensure complete mixing.

Q: Smoke from a ventilation hole when baking?

A: Some ingredients adhere to the heating element or nearby, for the first use,oil remained on the surface of the heating element. Unplug the bread maker and clean the heating element, but be careful to not burn yourself, during the first use, dry operating, and open the lid.

Q: Bread bottom crust is too thick.

A: Take the bread out immediately without keeping it warm.

Display “H: HH” after pressing the “start/stop” button

Press the “start/stop” button and open the cover until the bread maker cools down.

Q: Hear the motor noises but the dough isn’t stirred.

A: The bread pan is fixed improperly or the dough is too large to be stirred. Check whether the bread pan is fixed properly and the dough is made according to a recipe and the ingredients are weighed accurately.

Q: Bread size is so large it pushes the cover.

A: Yeast is too mush or flour is excessive or water is too much or the environment temperature is too high.

Q: Bread size is too small or bread has not risen.

A: No yeast or the amount of yeast is not enough, moreover, yeast may have a poor activity as the water temperature is too high or yeast is mixed together with salt, or the environment temperature is lower.

Q: Crust is too thick and the baking color is too dark when making cakes or food with excessive sugar.

A: Different recipes or ingredients have a great effect on making bread, baking color will become very dark because of too much sugar. If the baking color is too dark for the recipe with excessive sugar, press the “start/stop” button to interrupt the program ahead of 5-10 min or the intended finishing time. Before removing out the bread you should keep the bread or cake in a bread pan for about 20 minutes with the cover closed.

Q: The dough cycle doesn’t work. It will not pull the flour layer into the liquid. I had to use a spatula to push the layers together.

A:1. There may be too much flour, causing uneven mixing in the bread machine. 2. When placing the flour, try to place it in the middle instead of stacking it on the side. 3. Because it is machine mixing, there is a little flour around it that is not mixed until it is normal.

Q: I was wondering how to set up a timer to indicate when I can take out the stirrer thing at the bottom of the bread loaf so it does not leave a hole in the bottom of the loaf.

A: A long beep sound will be heard during operation. This is to prompt you to add ingredients. If you don't need to add anything, then you can open the Lid and take out the stirrer, otherwise, put in the ingredients, after the ingredients are mixed you can take out the stirrer.
