Pizza Margherita (more commonly known in English as Margherita pizza) is a typical Neapolitan pizza, made with San Marzano tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, fresh basil, salt and extra-virgin olive oil.
- 2 and 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 and 1/2 cup warm water(110 °F /45°C)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 and 1/3 cups bread flour
- Cheddar cheese (or Mozzarella)
- Tomato sauce
- Fresh Basil
Ingredients for toppings
Combine all the wet ingredients together 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar, 2 and 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast and add 1 and 1/2 cup warm water. Mixed well and let it sit for 10 minutes.
Add 1 teaspoon salt, 2 tablespoons olive oil mixed well and add 3 and 1/3 cups bread flour. Mix it until it becomes a sticky ball. Let the dough rise until double. This should take about 1 hour.
Get a pan spray some cooking oil. Out the dough and prick it using some fork. Put and spread tomato sauce in the dough and put in our Crownful air fryer. Set temperature at 375°Fand set timer for 12 minutes.
When it’s done get the pizza and put cheddar cheese, then put it back again at the air fryer oven. Set temperature at 375°F and set timer for 2 minutes.
Wait for it to be cooked and remove it from the air fryer. Slice and serve it.
